Fat Jesus' WWE Night of Champions 2012 Predictions

Night of Champions, formerly known as Vengeance and Vengeance: Night of Champions has really grown into it's own. I've always liked the idea of a show where the champions were honored and got to take the spotlight. Now it's right after Summerslam it always has the possibility to have a three way PPV punch starting with Money in the Bank. I usually like these events and hope this doesn't disappoint.

Battle Royal to Determine the No.1 Contender for the United States Championship
This will be short. WHO CARES. I haven't cared about any of these and I'm not going to start. I wouldn't doubt Santino somehow winning and us having a terrible match between the two again...this time on PPV though.
Winner: Santino

Antoino Cesaro  vs Whoever wins That Battle Roayal in a singles match for the United States Championship
Not a match I'm crazy about. But I like Cesaro and if it's someone like maybe Zack Ryder, this could be a nice little match for the USC. Either way though, I think Cesaro and his hussie microphone holder keep the title for awhile longer.
Winner (and STILL United States Champion): Antonio Cesaro

Layla (Divas Champion) vs Kaitlyn in a singles match for the Divas Championship
Kaitlyn has really grown on me over the past month-ish and if you know me or read these you know I love Layla. I don't mind either of them. Kaitlyn is botch prone though and Layla is improving but can't carry a match. Even if they both have delectable hineys I think no one wins this and it should end in a "double cunt out." See what I did thar? If I have to pick a winner, Layla. (Hopefully) Beth comes out and wrecks whoever wins.
Winner (and STILL Divas Champion): Layla

Kofi Kingston/R-Truth (WWE Tag Team Champions) vs Team Friendship [Daniel Bryan/Kane] in a tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Kane and D-Bry have the only story-line I'm remotely into right now. The skits are funny and these two have been two of the best in-ring this year. Which is why they could bring some legitimacy to the tag division by holding the title for a while. Let them win over Team Black, Gabriel/Kidd, Prime Time Players, Primo/Epico, etc. Gets the tag division built and lets the young'ns win over veterans/former world champs.
Winners (and NEW WWE Tag Team Champions): Daniel Bryan and Kane

The Miz (Intercontinental Champion) vs Rey Mysterio vs Sin Cara vs Cody Rhodes in a Fatal Four Way for the Intercontinental Championship
No build at all accept Rhodes wants his title back, attacked The Miz on Monday and everyone else has pinned Miz. This could really get the crowd into the show and as long as there not too much botching it could be a very entertaining match. I really don't think the title changes hands but if it does I'm sure they'll give it to Rey.
Winner (and NEW Intercontinental Champion): Rey Mysterio

Randy Orton vs Dolph Ziggler (Mr. Money in the Bank) in a singles match
As long as Dolph holds MitB he's going to continue having matches like these at PPVs. Which I don't mind at all. Great match with Jericho at SS and if given time these can have a nice match as well. While I'm not the biggest Orton fan his matches with Ziggler are good. Give them some time and this'll be solid. BUT I do want him to cash in and this is the prime night to do so I'd think. Solid match, but WWE loves Orton and I don't think he loses here.
Winner: Randy Orton

Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Alberto Del Rio in a singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
YAWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. This match again? I honestly don't care. Like both guys, don't like their matches though. Short thoughts on this one. Brogue Kick banned? Who cares. It's literally a big boot. Move the title to Del Rio or move on and let Ziggler feud with Sheamus. BUT look out! I really think that Dolph Ziggler may cash in after the match.
Winner (and STILL World Heavyweight Champion): Sheamus

CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs John Cena in a singles match for the WWE Championship
CM Punk is in full heel mode now. Attacking the fans, Cena, King, etc in great promos and segments. Add Heyman to the mix and this could be the Fall of Punk this year. Cena is still...well Cena. Cena/Punk had a good promo to match on Moday, that will be overshadowed by King's untimely heart attack, #GetWellJerry. I like this match and truly hope it main events as Punk v Cena matches haven't disappointed me yet and I'd like to see another chapter. And for Punk to keep this epic title reign going.
Winner (and STILL WWE Champion): CM Punk

Winners
Santino (Battle Royal)
Antonio Cesaro (still United States Champion)
Layla (still Divas Champion)
Daniel Bryan/Kane (new WWE Tag Team Champions)
Rey Mysterio (new Intercontinental Champion)
Randy Orton
Sheamus (still World Heavyweight Champion)
CM Punk (still WWE Champion)

Fat Jesus' WWE Summerslam 2012 Predictions

This is the grand 25th Anniversary of WWE's now "Biggest Party of the Summer". I love the Summerslam event and for they most part they've never disappointed me. This is like the Wrestlemania of the Summer and they usually go all out. And I think, from what's been announced, it will be a decent show.

Santino (United States Champion) vs Antoino Cesaro w/Aksana in a isngels match for the United States Champion
This is just another pre-PPV blech filler match. Although this has potential more than the others. Santino is decent enough when given time and Cesaro is very nice raw talent. Hopefully a decent match occurs here.
Winner (New United States Champion): Antonio Cesaro

Kofi Kingston and R-Truth vs Prime Time Players (Darren Young/Titus O'Neil) in a tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
I don't know why but I love the Prime Time Players. I don't mind Truth and Kofi but they have no reason to have the belts as they're never on TV. As bad as AW screwed up, that could only help PTP. I don't mind fresh faces with decent talent getting a chance to shine.
Winners (New WWE Tag Team Champions): Prime Time Players

Kane vs Daniel Bryan in a singles match
This match was thrown in I believe cause they've feuded before and Bryan and his "No No No" have NO match. They've had matches before and they've been solid. So I have no reason to think this will be bad. I just think it's out of no where. Filler, but good filler I hope.
Winner: Daniel Bryan

The Miz (Intercontinental Champion) vs Rey Mysterio in a singles match for Intercontinental Championship
Yet another match to throw in to complete a card. But this has potential to be great. Even though it's probably here to give Rey the title, it should be decent enough. Miz has grown to hold his own and as long a Rey doesn't botch too much they can have a decent little match.
Winner (And still Intercontinental Champion): The Miz

Triple H vs Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman in a singles match
This match has definitely had the most hype behind it. This is Triple H's first match since Wrestlemania and Brock's second match since returning. Like Heyman said this won't be a match this will be more of a brawl/fight. I wouldn't be surprised if Steph came out also, even with what happened to Shawn on Monday, I think we'll have an appearance as well. This can be fairly good I think, like his match with Cena. I'm just worried it will take precedence over other, bigger, matches.
Winner: Brock Lesnar

Chris Jericho vs Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero in a singles match
This could and probably will be the match that steals the show. This also one of the few matches that had a build I was interested in. Jericho is one of my all time favorites and Ziggler, to me, is the top performer right now in the WWE. He has Vickie which garners him even more heel heat and Money in the Bank which almost guarantees him the world title. This match will be VERY good I think.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Alberto Del Rio in a singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Not much more to say about this one than their Money in the Bank match. It will go on early and it will be good at best. They really need to find someone that meshes more with Del Rio (maybe Rey or Cody) and get Sheamus into a feud with Ziggler or Christian.
Winner (And still World Heavyweight Champion): Sheamus

CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs John Cena vs Big Show in a triple threat match for the WWE Champion
I have no clue why Big Show is in this match, he's literally just there. Also I'm asking why not make it a Fatal Four Way and throw in Bryan? As much as I love Punk though Cena hasn't had the title in ages and they made him fail the Money in the Bank cash in he had. The Punk turn is going well and I like him in a heel role more. He's just better at it. Anywho this could be a decent match Big Show is solid enough and we know Punk and Cena can have fantastic matches. Somehow I'm sure this won't be the main event and if it is, I'll be surprised.
Winner (And new WWE Champion): John Cena

Winners
Antonio Cesaro (New United States Champion)
Darren Young/Titus O'Neil (New WWE Tag Team Champions)
Daniel Bryan
The Miz (Retains Intercontinental Championship)
Brock Lesnar
Dolph Ziggler
Sheamus (Retains World Heavyweight Championship)
John Cena (New WWE Champion)

Fat Jesus' WWE No Way Out 2012 Predictions

No Way Out is back. For the first time in two years the No Way Out name is back on the PPV stage. All the PPVs since Wrestlemania and even Wrestlemania itself have been kind-of lackluster. Hopefully with this resurgence, and Money in the Bank and Summerslam on the horizon, that the PPV quality for now will start to improve.

Brodus Clay vs David Otunga in a singles match
Okay I understand why this was made and if it was on the PPV itself I might have been mad. But I was okay with this until the torn MCL angle. I think these two could have a decent enough match with Brodus leading. But I REALLY don't think Otunga can carry a match.
Winner: Brodus Clay

The Usos vs Epico and Primo w/Rosa Mendes & Abe Washington vs Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd vs Darren Young and Titus O'Neil
Uhhh no clue who to pick but there's a lot of great young talent. Give them some time and give me a nice start to the show.
Winners (And New No.1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships): Darren Young and Titus O'Neil

Sin Cara vs Hunico w/Cammacho in a singles match
Random match added to the PPV. Time filler. Blah Blah.
Winner: Sin Cara

Santino Marella (United States Champion) vs Ricardo Rodriguez in a Tuxedo Match
I have no clue what this match is nor do I know why it's on a PPV, but it better be done quickly. I'm pretty sure no one knows these two are even feuding and this is probably going to be a waste of a match.
Winner: Santino Marella

Layla (Divas Champion) vs Beth Phoenix in a single match for the Divas Championship
This could be a VERY nice match. Beth is easily the best diva on the roster in my opinion and Layla has really stepped up her game before injury and still looks good coming back. Give them time and I think we'll see a nice little divas match.
Winner (Still Divas Champion): Layla

Christian (Intercontinental Champion) vs Cody Rhodes in a singles match for the Intercontinental Championship
This could be another great match. They had a fantastic impromptu match at Over the Limit where Christian took the title from Cody. Now Cody has cut some good promos the past couple weeks, and both guys have had good matches too boot. Both are warmed up and primed for a great Round 2.
Winner (And Still Intercontinental Champion): Christian

Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Dolph Ziggler in a singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Originally this was going to be a match between Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus and granted I was excited for it. Both guys work hard and are good in-ring. But Khali screwed up and dun concussed Del Rio. Now we have what should be ANOTHER fantastic match between these two guys on a PPV scale. They had two great TV matches on Raw and Smackdown and now get the PPV showcase? I'm ready for a great match.
Winner (And Still World Heavyweight Champion): Sheamus

CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs Daniel Bryan vs Kane in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship
I love the build-up and potential of this match. The interactions between AJ and every one of the guys is awesome. From being apprehensive to Bryan, making out with Kane and the dating of CM Punk, AJ has been a great in this love square. Daniel Bryan and CM Punk have already proven they can put on a great match and adding in a hard working big man like Kane an only add to what was a great match at Over the Limit.
Winner (And New WWE Champion): Daniel Bryan

John Cena w/Mr. McMahon vs Big Show w/John Laurinaitis (If Big Show wins John Cena will be fired and if John Cena Wins John Laurinaitis will be fired)
I get the build up for this with Big Show feeling underused and unappreciated and John Cena having something to prove (yet again). But somehow this is still going to be the main event over WWE and World Heavyweight Championship matches. Cena has been a hard worker over the past couple years and Big Show has always been one as well. But like his matches with Lesnar and Johnny, they're not going to be spectacular, they are story-line driven, and really shouldn't be main event of the night.
Winner: John Cena

Winners
Brodus Clay
Darren Young and Titus O'Neil
Santino Marella
Layla (Still Divas Champion)
Christian (Still Intercontinental Champion)
Sheamus (Still World Heavyweight Champion)
Sin Cara
Daniel Bryan (New WWE Champion)
John Cena

Fat Jesus' WWE Over the Limit 2012 Predictions

Welp here's another month and another WWE PPV. This time it's Over the Limit. Can Money in the Bank or Summerslam or In Your House get here already? At least this one isn't gimmickfied. There's potential in all announced matches and one could easily be match of the year worthy. Anywho let's dive into some wrasslin predictions!

"People Power" Battle Royal with the winner facing Santino for the United States Championship or Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship
This is really only for filler. If a heel wins they'd  probably face Santino for the United States Championship and if a face wins they'd challenge Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship. In either case I don't think the title would change hands. But it would be a little more likely if the person who won challenged Santino. Could be a decent match either way though I guess.
Winner (And Still United States or Intercontinental Champion): Santino or Cody Rhodes

Zack Ryder vs Kane in a singles match
I honestly have no clue why they're doing this match and of people even still remember that they at one point had a feud. Either way its in the pre-show and no ones going to remember it anyway. I expect a promo from Ryder or something before he gets killed by Kane in 10 minutes.
Winner: Kane

Layla (Diva's Champion) vs Beth Phoenix in a singles match for the WWE Diva's Championship
I love both these divas. Beth is easily the most talented diva on the roster and before Layla's injury last year she was easily the most improved. There was a good divas match at (Elimination Chamber I believe) involving Beth and Tamina. This could be another worthy match in what is usually an awful Divas division.
Winner (And Still Divas Champion): Layla

Kofi Kingston/R-Truth (WWE Tag Team Champions) vs Dolph Ziggler/Jack Swagger in a tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
I don't know why WWE likes to throw tag teams together and give them the belts rather than just having one of the few tag teams they have atm win the belts. Kofi is now thrown with R-Truth (before with Evan Bourne) to forever be mid-card and be a place holder champion. At least I think. While this will be a great match as all 4 men are extremely talented, I've been saying that Ziggler, Swagger or both need titles. This is their out.
Winners (And New WWE Tag Team Champions): Zig-Swag

Sheamus (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Alberto Del Rio vs Chris Jericho vs Randy Orton in a Fatal Four Way match for the World Heavyweight Champion
The build-up for this has wholly been between Sheamus and Randy Orton, with some Jericho hitting finishers and Del Rio taking finishers sprinkled in. This should be a very good Fatal Four Way. All the competitors are hard workers with good styles that can mesh. Sheamus the power house, Orton the methodical wrestler, Del Rio the technician, and Jericho is all around-er. Of course it will turn into a finisher-fest by the end but hopefully they get a long match and then it will be very entertaining.
Winner (And Still World Heavyweight Champion): Sheamus

CM Punk (WWE Champion) vs Daniel Bryan in a singles match for the WWE Championship
YES YES YES! This match is gonna be AWESOME. It's no secret that I love both of these guys! Both are phenomenal in the ring and on the mic. While Punk has the WWE experience that Bryan doesn't they both grew up on the indy circuit. They honed their craft and now they're fighting for what's arguably the biggest and well known title in sports entertainment. I hope they get 30 minutes and if they do this will probably rival any match from this or last year.
Winner (And New WWE Champion): Daniel Bryan

John Cena vs John Laurinaitis in a singles match (If Laurinaitis loses he is fired from the WWE)
For some reason this is gonna be the main event over a fatal four way and a mega singles match for both companies world titles. Well I guess story-line wise it's for control of the company and if the face of the company can over come. I get it, but don't make this the main event. It's yet another gimmick or "big time" match that is overshadowing all the real talent (and there is a TON of potential good matches) on the card. In short the "fired" Big Show interferes, Cena loses and Laurinaitis keeps his job. PEOPLE POWER!
Winner: John Laurinaitis

Winners
Kane
Santino or Cody Rhodes
Layla
Zig-Swag
Sheamus
Daniel Bryan
John Laurinaitis

Fat Jesus' WWE WrestleMania 28 Predictions

Ahhh Wrestlemania. The biggest show on WWE's calendar. Where they bring out the big guns and big matches. 90% of the time there's gonna be at least 1 good match, 1great match, and 1 masterpiece of a match on each card. This year though there's 4 matches that could break the greatness to masterpiece ceiling. I'm not going to go into huge detail with this. Just gonna jot down some thoughts on the wrestlers and my predictions on who is going to win each match.

WWE Tag Team Champions Epico & Primo vs Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd vs. The Usos in a  Tag Team Triple Threat Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
Except for this match. Save for Tyson who is fantastic and Gabriel who is solid, I don't care about this match. And neither does WWE since they put it as a WWE.com match 30 minutes before the actual show starts.
Winner: Epico & Primo

Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos vs. Divas Champion Beth Phoenix & Eve in a Divas Tag Team Match
As much as I love Beth Phoenix, the best active Diva on the roster, this is going to be a shit match. Ala WM24, 25, 26, 27, and I can safely say all Wrestlemania's until Divas matter in the WWE.
Winner: Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos

Randy Orton vs. Kane in a Singles Match
Another match that I don't care about, but Orton has been solid the past year and both hi mand Kane are hard workers. it's not going to be a memorable match. But I think it will be solid enough and will keep my attention while it's on.
Winner: Randy Orton

Team Teddy (Booker T, The Great Khali, R-Truth, Santino (United States Champion), Kofi Kingston and Zack Ryder) vs. Team Johnny (Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, David Otunga, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler and The Miz)
Winning Team's Manager Becomes GM of Both Raw and Smackdown
Ahhh if this were the Money in the Bank match and half these jobbers weren't here I'd be excited. But this is clearly just a match to show off talent and hit finishers. I could care less who runs both shows, I want a decent match. I think this is just a way to get Johnny off screen, for whatever reason. Better talent of team Johnny though unfortunately.
Winner: Team Teddy

Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show in a Singles Match for the Intercontinental Championship
I love Cody. I've always liked The Big Show. WHEN he has a godly size opponent that can slow it down with him, ala Kane or Mark Henry. I loved Cody's promos heading into the match, tearing down Show's past  Wrestlemania blunder, but it makes me think he'll get his "time" tonight.
Winner: The Big Show

World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus in a Singles Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
The two men who were supposed to meet in a United States Championship match last year, that got bumped, now are both competing for the world title in one of the main events of Wrestlemaina. Bryan is probably one of the top 10 pure wrestlers of the last 10 years and Sheamus is one of the best big man/brawler/technician's in the WWE. This could be a VERY nice match.
Winner:  World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan

WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho in a Single Match for the WWE Championship
Easily the best wrestler from last year, with easily one of the best wrestler of all time. Both phenomenal in the ring. Both epic on the mic. Give them 30 minutes and it will steal the now. Enough said.
Winner: WWE Champion, CM Punk

The Undertaker vs. Triple H in a Hell in a Cell Match with special referee Shawn Michaels
The dubbed End of an Era match. The Undertaker and Shawn Michael Michaels and Undertaker and Triple H match last year have been the highlights each year. Now they've caged the two from last year and added the man that propelled Undertakers WM legend even higher. Obviously Taker wins, but if this is on par with the past three years, then it will be a nice match.
Winner: The Undertaker

John Cena vs. The Rock in a Singles Match
The match a year in the making a pertty much promo only feud up till now. and Cena has come out on top with his. Stepping up night in and out. The Rock's were good but lacked. Give them time and it'll be a decent little match. Not main event of WM worthy, at least I'm not expecting it to be. Also they'll have three matches over the next year I'd assume.
Winner: John Cena

Winners
Epico & Primo
Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos
Randy Orton
Team Teddy
The Big Show
Daniel Bryan
CM Punk
The Undertaker
John Cena

The Smackdown Lowdown 11/4/11

Do we really need an intro from a random show in limbo before Survivor Series? The Rock is "back" on Raw, CM Punk is No.1 Contender for Alberto Del Rio's WWE Championship and we're going to see what becomes of Mark Henry and the World Heavyweight Championship here on Smackdown. I hear there's a Street Fight between the Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. So let's give ya the lowdown on Smackdown!

Randy Orton beat Cody Rhodes (Interconteninal Champion) via pinfall in Street Fight: 8/10 or 4/5 Stars
I like this little feud. Both men have been working well with each other and it has produced a couple good matches and great promos out of Rhodes. By this point this is a 30 minutes awesome-fest. It's not technical, but it's taken 3 commercial breaks to fit this very good street fight into the show. End match, Orton hits Rhodes with the mask and rolls into the snap powerslam. Orton sets up for the RKO, Rhodes pushes off and hits the Beautiful Disaster for a long two. Rhodes goes for the Cross Rhodes, Orton spins out and tries  to hit the second rope DDT. Rhodes slips out to the floor and they brawl at ringside until Orton hits a DDT off the barricade  Orton throws Rhodes back in the ring and blasts him with a RKO for the pinfall in this near 30 minutes match. Afterward, Randy is leaving ringside and notices a paper bag on the floor. He picks it up, goes back into the ring and proceeded to place the paper bag on Cody Rhodes' head.

We get the Raw Rebound as we go to commercial break, showing more Triple H and Kevin Nash stuff. I really didn't pay attention to this on Raw or in the Rebound just now.

We get welcomed back by Matt Striker saying that he'll have an interview with the World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry later.

Ted DiBiase beat Tyson Kidd via pinfall in a singles match: 2/10 or 1/5 Stars
DiBiase has always had potentinal and I've always said WWE needs to do more with him. Tyson Kidd, I think, is a stud in the making someday. This is a little more than a squash, but one none the less. DiBiase ends the match with Dream Street after a couple minutes.

Matt Striker is in the back with Mark Henry. Henry starts talking about giving the Big Show plenty of chances, for something, he trails off when he sees Daniel Bryan standing at the Kraft Food service in the back. He tell Bryan he better not be thinking about cashing in on him. Bryans says he's still cashing in a Wrestlemania. Henry then says he can wait till the second coming, but he won't beat him. Henry then says he's going to Teddy to make a match between the two.

Alicia Fox beat Natayla via pinfall in a singles match: 2/10 or 1/5 Stars
End match Nattie puts on a Boston crab. Alicia gets out and hits a wobbly insiguri, and the a somersault leg drop for the one, two, three. Nothing really to say....

Big Show comes out to the ring. As he does they show Mark Henry and Big Show breaking the ring at Vengeance and he says they have unfinished business. Shows says that every week Henry doesn't respond that mama said to knock you out. Christian's music hits and he comes out to the ring. Christian said that the "mama said knock you out" line was as big as it was gonna get. Big Show agrees and starts to leave, But Christian ponders why Show thinks he should get one more match. After a huge spiel by Christian, the Big Show starts to scratch his chin. Christian calls him out on trying to knock him the fuck out, but instead of punching him in the face he gives him a chokeslam as we go to commercial.

Christian vs Sheamus in a single match: Never Started
As Sheamus is coming down to the ring Christian is still reeling form the chokeslam and says that he can't compete. Wade Barrett's music hits. As he walks down to the ring he says Christian is in no condition to compete that he has a suitable replacement, him.

Wade Barrett beat Sheamus via pinfall in a singles match: 6/10 or 3/5 Stars
Barrett steps in the ring and the match immediately begins. I like all these guy out here at ringside too.  Barrett throws a bunch of knee lifts as Sheamus is in the ropes and big boots Sheamus out of the ring as we go to commercial break. End match Sheamus hits a flurry of offense. Sheamus is going for the Celtic Cross and Christian hops on the apron, distracting Sheamus.  Barrett then rolls up Sheamus into a schoolboy for the 1-2-3. After the match Christian spears Sheamus before leaving with Barrett to the back.

As we come back Sheamus is giving a beat down to Christian in the back. Sheamus is then hit form behind by Barrett and they brawl until being broken up by security.

Daniel Bryan is getting ready in the back and Big Show walks up. Bryan says he's got it, but Big Show insists on being in his corner with his match against Mark Henry.

We get another Raw Rebound, this time we go over The Muppets taking over Raw on Monday. I liked it. I love The Muppets comedy and style, and they had some great moments in my humble opinion.

More Brodus Clay promos and he's finally re-debuting on Raw this Monday. Let's hope he eats Hornswoggle on-air.

Sin Cara beat Epico via DQ in a singles match: 2/10 or 1/5 Stars
Epico, new guy, I guess. And he can throw suplexes! Dear Lord, back suplexes, Germans, etc. Epico then slaps on the Gory Special wow! End match, Sin Cara is going to the top rope for the swanton bomb. Huncio pushes him off the top rope for the DQ. Afterward Huncio and Epico give SinCara a beatdown. (This was very badly written, but I don't wanna rewrite, so live with it.)

Mark Henry (World Heavyweight Champion) beat Daniel Bryan (Mr. Money in the Bank) w/Big Show via DQ in a singles match: 3/10 or 1.5/5 Stars
This was basically a main event squash match. But Bryan did get offense in, sleepers, a guillotine or two, and the that awesome flurry of kicks. End match Bryan was getting pummeled by Henry in the corner. After a running clothesline on Bryan, Big Show comes into the ring and KNOCKS Henry THE FUCK OUT. About as much as I expected from this to be honest.

After the match Big Show urges Daniel Bryan to cash in his Money in the Bank cause Henry was KO'd. Bryan climbs back in the ring and goes to hit Henry with the briefcase before cashing in. Instead he takes The Worlds Strongest Slam. Big Show the jumps in the ring and Henry blats him with the briefcase and hits another Worlds Strongest Slam on Big Show. At this point Teddy Long comes out and announces that at Survivor Series it will be the rematch of Big Show vs Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Smackdown Rating: 7/10 or 3.5/5 Stars
Last Week: 7/10 or 3.5/5 Stars
Yet ANOTHER another solid week for Smackdown. The promos  that were done were good. There was a ton of in-ring action. Sheamus and Barrett put on a good match and the 30 minute Street Fight between Rhodes and Orton to start the show was amazing. Watch that match if you watch any wrestling this week. I think we're moving nicely to Survivor Series as well. When there's not only two week between PPVs, there's time to build good story-lines and not seem like a bunch of morons without any wrestling sense.

That's it for The Smackdown Lowdown. As always suggest to me stuff you'd like me to write on. Also if you wanna add me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter, please do so. Really I don't mind.

The Smackdown Lowdown 10/28/11

We're coming off yet another mediocre PPV in Vengeance. Sheamus, again beat Christian in a solid match-up and Randy Orton overtook the Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes in another solid match. Finally Mark Henry kept his title after his match with The Big ended with the ring being broken. Are we allowed to remember that? I hope so, it happened a week ago. Hopefully the superstars can somehow perform knowing Maryse has been let go as well. Anywho what will be the fallout for the World Heavyweight Champ and the rest of Smackdown? Well I'm here to tell you, here's the lowdown on Smackdown.

We start off with Teddy Long in the ring and he's addressing what happened at Vengeance. He says that the status of everything involing the title is in limbo and will be addressed tonight. Christian hits the ring and says they're gonna address the issue now. Christian says that Big Show had his shot and blew it and it leaves a hole in the title picture. Christian says he wants the shot, but Teddy comes back with the fact he's losing to Sheamus. Christian is still lobbying to get the title shot when CM Punk's music hits and he heads to the ring. Christian finishes by saying he deserves one more match. Teddy tells us that he's arranged for Raw starts to be on this show tonight for a Super Smackdown. They argue about which GM sucks more, Ace or Long. Punk then says he's a fan of Christian but not what he spews. Christian says that he thinks Punk leaving with the title over the summer was awful. Punk says all of Christian's bitching is wasting all our time and maybe that's why Punk gets title shots. Christian goes on to say that Punk shouldn't disrespect the top person on Smackdown and that he should take is pipe bomb back to Raw. Punk starts to leave but then says the people in Houston want him there and in a match...against Christian. Teddy makes it the main event and we go to commercial.

Did you know? That in fact, Matt Hardy isn't dead yet.

The Awesome Truth (The Miz/R-Truth) beat Air Boom (Kofi Kingston/Evan Bourne) [WWE Tag Team Champions] via pinfall in a tag team match: 4/10 or 2/5 Stars
Before the match we get footage of Miz and Truth taking out Cena on Raw and then Cena saying he'll team with The Rock against them at Survivor Series. End match Kofi hit a double jump crossbody on Miz for a two. Bourne knee strikes Truth out of the ring but misses a plancha over the top. Truth tags himself in and they hit both their finisher at the same time, The Skull Crushing Lil Jimmy, for the pinfall. Solid tag, great end, and great promo from the "thrown" together tag team gone big-time.

The jobber squad, led by Daniel Bryan is in the back, and just saw the HBK v Hart DVD commercial. Bryan say it was a pleasure to train with HBK when he first started in the business. Tyson Kidd comes in and starts an argument on who's better, Bret or Hart. Santino said that this is the locker room and they should "be real mans" and fight it out in the ring.

Cut to Teddy and Little Long Island Iced Z, Hornswoggle. Vickie Guerrero, Jack Sawgger, and Dolph Ziggler (United States Champion) come up laughing about Ryder being taken out on Raw or something like that. Who cares? Teddy decides to put Dolph in a match with Randy Orton and that Swagger is barred from ringside. After they leave Aksana walks up and "seduces" Teddy Long.

We then get a video package of Kevin Nash taking out triple H on Raw with that dastardly sledgehammer before Wade Barrett heads to the ring and we go to commercial.

Wade Barrett beat Trent Baretta via pinfall in a singles match: 2/10 or 1/5 Stars
Before the match Barrett says his Barrett barrage is in full swing. Barrett and Baretta, will the extra vowel mean anything in the end? End match Barrett counters a move and muscles Baretta up into The Wasteland for the one, two, three. Guess that vowel didn't help. I like Barrett and i'm glad they're showing him off and letting him win matches. Push incoming? I hope so.

Randy Orton beat Dolph Ziggler (United States Champion) w/Vickie Guerrero via pinfall in a singles match: 6/10 or 3/5 Stars
Cody Rhodes your Intercontinental Champion, unexpectedly, comes out to do commentary. I like this matching going into the commercial break too. Technical and neither are over powering each other yet, just a good back and forth. End match Orton hits the second rope DDT after a flurry off offence. Orton goes for the RKO but gets a superkick from Ziggler instead for a long time two. Ziggler regroups and goes for the Zig Zag but Orton hangs onto the ropes. Ziggler charges Orton and takes an RKO for his troubles. 1-2-3, match is over. Great match, ok finish. I love Ziggler and Orton can still put on good matches.

Afterward Rhodes is pissed and taunted Orton with a paper bag as he backs up the ramp with his baggers.

We get footage of Sin Cara Negro losing the mask vs mask match to Sin Cara Azul. We then cut to the back where the no unmasked Sin Cara Negro tells Striker that he's pissed that Azul took away his identity and something else in Spanish before walking off.

Daniel Bryan (Mr. Money in the Bank) beat Tyson Kidd via submission in a singles match: 3/10 or 1.5/5 Stars
Daniel Bryan, always amazing. Tyson Kidd, young stud rising. This could be epic. Or this could be a short match filled with great counters that is too short and I'll complain until they get a 10+ minute match. I want a grudge feud between these two. Make it happen WWE. End match  Bryan picks his way out of The Sharpshooter and slaps on the LaBell Lock and Kidd taps.

We get a video package of what we saw earlier replayed where Miz and Truth cost Cena the title and have been harassing him. Ending with Cena choosing The Rock to be his partner at Survivor Series.

Cole has a mic and he starts completely knocking JR. He has a bunch of photoshopped pictures of JR training. He says that the rules for the Michael Cole Challenge (or whatever it's called) will be explained Monday. And that of JR somehow wins Cole will quit.

Big Show comes out to the ring to address the world title situation. We get...pictures, fuck you WWE for still doing this, of Mark Henry and Big Show breaking the ring at Vengeance Sunday.. Big Show starts by saying "Oops I did it again." Big Show puts over the strength and tenacity of Mark Henry, making him hurt in places he didn't know he had. Big Show wants them to reinforce the ring and he wants a match number two for the title. He looked into Henry's eyes and he knows he can beat him. Teddy Long agrees and sometime in the future this rematch will happen. The World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Henry comes out. Both men look beat up, I like that. Henry says that it doesn't matter who he talks to, he's not getting another match. And that obviously he didn't do a good enough job beating him, that he should put his boot in his mouth right now. Big Show is ready to fight, but as Henry is getting into the ring pain hits him and he retreats. We go to commercial with Mark Henry holding the World Heavyweight Championship in the air.

CM Punk beat Christian via pinfall in a singles match: 6/10 or 3/5 Stars
No real build-up. Just two amazing wrestlers getting to talk earlier in the night and now having a main event match. Punk's going for the GTS when WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio's music hits and he walks out with Ricardo Rodriguez. Christian hits an impaler DDT for a long two as we go to commercial. End match Christian hits a powerslam counter of the spring board clothesline for a two. Christian goes for The Killswitch, Punk goes for the GTS, Christian goes for the The Killswitch, but takes the running knee and bulldog in the corner. Ricardo runs through the ring and Punk ends up hitting the springboard clothesline for a two. Punk sets up for the Macho Man elbow drop, but Del Rio knocks him off behind the refs back Sheamus' music hits and distracts Christian as he's about to spear Punk. Ricardo runs off as Punk takes advantage hitting the GTS on Christian for the pinfall.

Smackdown Rating: 7/10 or 3.5/5 Stars
Last Week: 7/10 or 3.5/5 Stars
I think this was another solid week for Smackdown. The promos CM Punk/Christian, Miz/Truth after their win and Mark Henry/Big Show were good. The matches were good as well. CM Punk and Christian was a nice end to the show and Randy Orton vs Dolph Ziggler was a great mid-match show as well. Barrett is looking good, as well as Bryan getting a win. I like those results. All in all, solid show, like last week. You don't have to hate yourself for watching Smackdown. Two good weeks in a row now.

That's it for The Smackdown Lowdown. As always suggest to me stuff you'd like me to write on. Also if you wanna add me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter, please do so. Really I don't mind.

The Smackdown Lowdown 10/21/11 [Tweet Edition]

But I did live Tweet it, and yeah time to bring back the ole Tweet Edition! We're a few days away from Vengeance. Orton vs Rhodes in a grudge match, Beth vs Eve for the divas title, Del Rio vs Cena for the WWE Championship and Mark Henry vs Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship. Last Week: NR
I liked Smackdown a lot this week. The tag match was standard, but nice. Cody Rhodes' promo was AMAZING, and I love that Vince is high on him. Del Rio/Show to end was as good a match you'll get out o Big Show. Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett was great, I said this weeks ago that they need to put Bryan and Barrett in a feud. Hopefully they do after that match. Also Sin Cara Negro and Sin Cara Azul put on a helluva match in Mexico City. They looked good, and even though both of them are prone to botching, there was few, if any mistakes in the mask vs mask match. Just a very good Smackdown all around this week, leading into Vengeance this Sunday.
