Halloween Movie Month [The Blair Witch Project]

Ahh The Blair witch Project. Another mokumentary, first person style movie. I don't remember ever watching this, but I know it's one of the biggest horror films made. In short, it follows the story three film students Heather, Josh, and Mike. They go out to the woods in near Burkittsville, Maryland to uncover the story of of The Blair Witch. After a couple nights there strange things start happening to them. Will they ever make it out of the woods in one piece, or will the spirits never let them go? I like the idea of this movie so much, just like Paranormal Activity, but this is just bad to me. The start and interviews with towns people are fine, even a bit interesting. But once they actually make it out to the woods it's becomes 50 minutes of f-bombs, arguing, and them yelling and complaining. While I liked the end, some good scare moments, the middle of the film is just ass to me. I know people like the "slow-build", and that doesn't bother me. What does bother me is when the scares are good, but the movie itself isn't. No music, the writing is terrible, and you can't even being to like the characters cause they're all, in my opinion, ass-holes. I didn't like this at all, but you may. So if you've got an hour give it a shot. It may be decent to you.
